Proctored Exams

When students need to take an exam outside the classroom, the STC 测试ing Center can provide proctoring services. Proctors authenticate students' IDs, keep track of time, and ensure testing guidelines and instructions are followed.

Proctoring for Southeast Technical College 学生s

学生s wishing to utilize the on-campus 测试ing Center can follow the directions below for scheduling a testing session.

Online proctored testing is also available through the 测试ing Center. 学生必须 first complete the Request for Online Proctor form for each course on myTech (login required). After approval has been granted by the instructor, the student may register for a testing session using the directions below. You will not be able to register for an online testing session until the request form has been submitted to your instructor and approved.

Follow these steps to schedule a proctored exam at the 测试ing Center

1. 登录

   登录你的 myTech 账户.

2. 学生

   Click on the "学生" tab.

3. 测试ing Center

   Click on "测试ing Center," in the center column of the page.

4. Proctored Exams

   Click on "Proctored Exams," on the left side of the page.

5. 储备 

   Click "储备 a Spot for Proctored 测试ing."

6. 选择课程

   In the "Course" field, choose one.

7. 测试

   In the last field enter a description of the test you wish to take, i.e, Unit 1, 测试 3

8. 报名

   点击“注册”." After registering, you will receive an email confirmation. 

Proctoring for Non-Southeast Tech 学生s

The 测试ing Center at Southeast Tech can proctor exams for students attending other colleges or technical colleges. Please call the 测试ing Center at 605-367-6014 to make scheduling accommodations, including the payment of any proctor fees. Please bring your official ID to the 测试ing Center on the day of the test.
